Tessa is a very sweet girl. She is my very best friend and I love her more than life. I got her the day after I graduated from high school with the money I collected as graduation presents. She was the very best of all the presents and I couldn't have chosen a better thing to buy. Unfortunantly she is a pet store puppy mill puppy and has alot of problems. She has cost me a fortune in vet bills but she is worth every penny and more. She is so smart, she understands nearly every word I say to her and has been known to follow commands the first time she hears them without any previous training. She listens so well and does things the first second she's told to do them. The only exception being when she has to get up to do them because she is crippled so it takes a little bit for her to get up. She is one of the most beautiful dogs in the world in my opinion and she's generally very photogenic. She's a ham and loves to have her picture taken. She's so smart and when she was little she was such a cutie, she got away with everything. She used to sit at the table with the family while we were talking. She'd have her back feet in the chair and her front paws on the table. She would look from person to person as we would talk, listening to every word. I have a picture of her at the table somewhere. If I can find it I'll post it. My mother, who normally doesn't even like dogs in the kitchen, took the picture. That's how spoiled she is. She would never touch food if we were eating (unless of course it was given to her) even when she was on the table with us until my exsister-in-law moved in and regularly shoved her plate in front of her when she got done no matter how much I yelled at her for it. Since then Lassie is a bit of a food thief. Another time we were at my gramma's and Lassie was on the couch (were no other dogs have been allowed) sitting next to my gramma licking her hand. My gramma says, "I never let dogs lick me." as she hands Lassie her other hand to lick. Once she got mad when we left her home alone and she went into my mom's room and peed on her bed so the next time we were watching tv, Mom wouldn't let her on the bed (which no other dog had ever been allowed to do anyway). The next thing we know, the overwhelming smell of poo filled the room. I got up to go find it and as I went around the corner of the bed I saw it. There was a nice pile IN my mom's shoe. I froze. I KNEW my mom was going to kill us both. My mom says, "What?" as she glares at me. Then she looks down beside her at her shoes and about falls out of bed laughing. Then, get this, SHE cleaned it up! I tell you, Lassie is MEGA spoiled and not just by me and, as you can probably tell, she holds grudges. She is the greatest dog and she has touched my life so much. I love her dearly.
